VETERANS DAY

Veterans day is a holiday in America which is for the honour of the soldiers who fought in a war. It's a kind of memorial day and it's celebrated on November 11. This date is the anniversary of the ending of World War I. Veterans are the people who have served in the army for a long time.

In the military, there are four units; army, navy, air-force and marines. Surprisingly I've learnt that marines have the least respect in the army in U.S and they are called as " Jar Head ". They do what they are told to do and they don't think, they just do. Ironically, when there is a war, marines are the first people who fight in the war. They also have a very difficult training than the other soldiers. But they are seen as "jar head"...That's the irony..
